Burj Dubai 2010
Today, his royal highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, VP and Prime Minister of UAE and ruler of Dubai[1] revealed the tallest building in the world “Burj Dubai”. The construction began in 2004 and finally ended today, final height of 828 m long. When I was there last year the doors were closed to the public, and unfortunately work prevented me from being there for the grand revealing this year. Designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merill LLP.
To my understanding, on of the hold ups was that the windows on the last few floors would keep shattering due to the pressure up there. “So high up I got no air in my Condo”
[1] That’s actually how you have to refer to him when you’re in Dubai.

I love how everything in Dubai has to be the biggest and best, they just opened the largest candy store in the world in the Dubai Mall.
The fireworks look insane though, i was there just last week. Shame I missed this.
